With seven years of community effort, a unanimous City Council supporting Walmart was elected, and a 2-to-1 agreement in a citywide election enabled Walmart to proceed with its Atascadero store.
Now a judge’s decision removes another barrier imposed by the union-funded Tom Comar’s relentless attempts to block the majority will of Atascadero and prevent free market enterprise from flourishing.
One can only hope that Mr. Comar will find some other absurd windmill to tilt at — like man-caused global warming — and cease pestering Atascadero.
