Thank you to The Tribune for printing and to Jerry Smith for selecting the “From soul to paper” poems this year. One poem by Celeste Goyer called “Quickly Past Avila” stands out. I have been reading letters to the editor for years that protest our nuclear plant. This one poem hits home harder than any letter. I urge readers to find it in the April 14 issue, cut it out, and paste it in plain view.
