Claims not true

I am writing to respond to the recent letter “Nonstop bullying,” regarding bullying at Paso Robles High School. I disagree with the student who wrote the article, because he makes some claims that — from my perspective as a 10th-grade student — aren’t even true.

For example, he says that he sees “constant, nonstop bullying ... on a regular basis.” In my opinion, I don’t think there’s bullying on a regular basis. I walk around campus and see everybody being nice to each other and not being bullies.

Another example he gave was that most students participate in it. Based on my observations, most people are nice to each other or they’re friends with each other. I think the student is maybe confusing bullying with something else, like playing around with friends.
