Today’s dark times

As a student of American history, I always thought the darkest days of our nation was between 1861 and 1865, but now I believe that they are today, 2013. Abraham Lincoln gave his life with his steadfast belief that the nation be kept whole and a strong beacon to the world that freedom was God’s will to be shared by all.

On the other hand, Barack Obama, with help from the mainstream media, seems intent on dividing this country into different pieces, splitting us up between the wealthy and the so-called poor, pitting black, brown and white races against one another and demonizing anything or anyone who might have a contrary view to his, just ask Bob Woodward.

We have a president in Barack Obama who introduces the idea of sequestration then goes around the country telling everyone how bad it will be if implemented and then blames the Republicans for not agreeing to raise taxes again when the sequester was supposed to be about spending cuts.

Our poor nation is going bankrupt, we are borrowing about 40 cents of every dollar we spend and are $16.5 trillion in debt. What a burden to leave our grandkids.
