Let it happen

Let sequestration happen. The time has come to make spending cuts, but apparently the president is not competent to propose budgets. He only makes speeches.

There was a time when the president proposed budget legislation, but no more.

In the new world order, the House passes budget legislation, and sends it to the Senate, where the leadership is not competent to enact a bill that could be negotiated with the House bill to develop a mutually acceptable (not particularly-liked-by-eitherparty) appropriations bill.

Since we have totally incompetent executive and legislative branches of government, we may as well get something accomplished to reduce spending, and it appears sequestration is the only workable solution. So be it.
