Letter: Poor coverage

Unfortunately, as usual, The Tribune has only negative comments about anything Republican.

To balance the bias, let me say that I, too, think Jerry Brown is an “old retread,” as Christie said. I thoroughly enjoyed many of the speeches and was pleased to see so many young, energetic, intelligent governors from many states where they have managed to turn around the economy in spite of the policies coming out of Washington. California is not one of them.

Clint Eastwood was a delight. He made my day! His offbeat humor added to the evening. At 82, he is clear-thinking and recognizes that changes have to be made in this next election.

Shame on you, Tribune, for your poor coverage of the Republican convention. No doubt the upcoming Democratic National Convention coverage will be all positive.
