PG&E’s seismic survey, if executed, will be a catastrophic disaster to all sea life. There is no fathomable contingency plan in existence for PG&E to mitigate this train wreck, high energy seismic survey.
Please examine the following facts: Monterey Bay Whale Watch reported humpback whale sightings just about every day in October 2011. When leaving Monterey Bay, humpback whales continue south right by Diablo going south to Mexico. Condo Express has a website graph on which they show October to be an excellent sighting month for blue whales. Both the blue whale and humpback whale are currently on the endangered species list.
Also to be considered are roaming whales and early gray whale travelers.

Sound use said to be approximately 250 decibels (equivalent to two large commercial jets) has the potential to bring unspeakable harm to all sea life.
We don’t always know why changes in migration patterns and routes take place, but I can tell you this: Just as we nurse and protect our young and avoid dangerous places that could pose a threat or harm to our young in any way, so do the whales.
If this survey goes forward, our reputation as being the happiest place will be erased, and instead we’ll be known as the most insane and inhumane place.
Do not delay; deny, deny, deny this ludicrous method now and forever. Raise your voices to the Coastal Commission, Department of Fish and Game, Board of Supervisors and congressional representatives.
