I have heard it said that calling a person who does not agree with your political views un-American is itself un-American.
I totally agree.
Growing up in Italy, I never heard an Italian being called un-Italian because he did not agree with the views of another Italian.
And yet I hear many “wannabe” Americans, in politics and the media, calling other Americans un-American because they do not share their views.

Regardless of the fairness of the tax code, I believe that a person who takes advantage of our nation’s system to get rich and pays his share of taxes is more American and patriotic than the person who does the same thing but puts his money offshore to avoid taxation. In my view, the person who evades taxes by putting his money offshore is stealing from the country that allowed him to get rich.
He is a thief, plain and simple.
