So, Andrew Kenny believes that more guns were needed in a dark, smoke-filled theater with several hundred panicked people (letters, July 22)? A gunfight in a crowded theater against a maniac armored from the neck down just doesn’t sound like a good idea to me, but, as Kenny suggests, I just don’t understand.
I do have one question for Mr. Kenny. What if there were more guns, as you are calling for, and one of the armed customers in attendance sees you firing a pistol?
