I think that Gov. Jerry Brown has finally gone over the edge with the new texting law he just signed, which goes into effect next January.
What difference does it make if a person has a hands-free device? The problem is that by texting or even using a hands-free device to make phone calls, any driver would be distracted.
How many more deaths or injuries is it going to take to make legislators throughout the country realize that any distraction to a driver is going to be dangerous.
I guess Gov. Brown has lost all logic in this matter. Governor, why don’t you try to balance the state budget, without cutting the jobs of many people in both the private and public sector, instead writing a law that is going to cause more harm than good?
