So, I guess Christians aren’t allowed freedom of speech — no matter how obliquely they voice their beliefs (“Atheists criticize Pismo prayers,” July 5)? Since when is it OK for everyone but Christians to be very verbal — sometimes to the point of verbal abuse — but it’s not OK for Christians to say Jesus’ name?
I really think that it is about time we get back to reality; “political correctness” has become something that is fodder for the lawyers and judges of the world to decide, and they do not err on the side of rational judgement for that would put them out of jobs!
Come on, people. Just open up your minds to the fact that we all believe differently, and so long as the words aren’t hurting anyone, just listen and move on!
