Why does The Tribune seem to be against unions? Why are many people against unions? Are people against the police? Are people against firefighters? Are people against nurses? Are people against their children’s or their grandchildren’s teachers?
What part of our community do people think unions represent?
Unions aren't perfect because people aren't perfect. But unions mean that a person isn't alone when confronted with serious problems at work. Unions require transparency and accountability.
That means we have to pay attention. It takes time and effort to make organizations function properly. That sounds as if each and every one of us needs to do something.
