On June 4, I had a problem while driving my car in San Luis Obispo. The power totally went out while I was driving.
I halfway coasted into the 7-Eleven parking lot at California and Taft (on the Taft side) and couldn’t go any farther. I was sticking out into the street.
While I was waiting for AAA to come, a very nice gentleman knocked on my window and told me it was very likely that someone would hit me as they came around the bend to where my car was only partially into the driveway. He proceeded to physically push my car farther into the lot and told me to put my hazard lights on (which I hadn’t realized would still work without power to the car).
I thanked him there but would like to tell him again how very much more grateful I was than I probably sounded, as I was upset and nervous.

I hope to pay it forward in some way, although I doubt I’ll be pushing any cars!
