What we’re about
What are the most important things that the government should do?
One of the most important things is to make sure that poor people have enough money to eat and have a roof over their heads. Then, I believe that all corporations should be constantly supervised to prevent dishonesty.
Taxing and all government activities should be kept at a minimum. This will keep industry running smoothly and jobs for all people. Successful corporations and individuals will continue to give to charities that support health research and the poor. Unsuccessful corporate products will not be what the public wants and these corporations will go bankrupt, which should have happened to General Motors.
Monetary crisis does not change the basis of democracy. When this great country was formed, people fled from all over the world to find a land where government was not ruling everything. Look at the world today — many countries have domineering governments that make the people subservient and the result is often violence.
President Barack Obama, you need to read the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution to understand what this nation is really all about.

Enemy of freedom
Secrecy is the enemy of personal freedom, of an open society and of a truly representative government. Secrecy robs men of their manhood, women of their just equality, children of their ability to fully develop, the elderly and infirm of their autonomy and the disadvantaged of their personal dignity.
Particularly in light of current events, the time has come for us, no matter what immediate setbacks may come, to embrace transparency and rely on the integrity and judiciousness of our decisions as our guide, not our ability to deceive and hide our purposes.
After 70 years, I have noticed the change.
When a culture of higher morals and values helps the subcultures obtain more recognition and lets them integrate their cultural beliefs and traditions, then the overall culture of the whole nation becomes a mediocre culture ruled by the wealthy and vote beggars.
That is what happened to America. That is why we have lousy TV, radio and movies: the dumbing down of America.

Let’s teach our kids how to safely respond to being bullied. An excellent tool for parents and teachers alike is a book by Carol Gray titled, “The New Social Story Book.”
It gives step-by-step guidance on what to do while being bullied. The book also contains similar tutorials on dozens of other social situations that kids will encounter in their growing-up years.
