Let me see if I have this right: We are in on of the worst droughts in California’s history. But the South County Advisory Council unanimously approved the construction of 242 more homes in Nipomo.
They were only concerned about water for the golf course. Forget the homes — they cannot use recycled water, but the golf course can.
I worked for a water company for more than 30 years. I have been retired for more than 20 years. For about the past three decades, I have been pushing to stop putting more homes in areas where water is suspect.
The Woodlands Mutual Water Co. is the provider in the area of the approved homes. They are already in Level 3 condition, meaning water demand exceeds the supply.

I see water wars coming. My company was in one for about 50 years and finally lost. It is going to get nasty!
