On Sept. 23, I was involved in a multicar accident on Highway 101.
To be struck violently and unexpectedly from behind and sent spinning across the freeway to end up half-on and half-off the roadway facing oncoming traffic is disorienting, to say the least.
I know I was not thinking clearly immediately following the accident, but thankfully I was not seriously injured.
I am writing to thank the two wonderful people who stopped their respective cars to lend assistance.

Before the police, ambulance and tow trucks arrived, they were checking the condition of the parties involved.
Before I could get out of the car, the woman was at my door asking whether I was OK.
The man called 911 and helped the police push my disabled car off the roadway.
They stayed and gave their eyewitness accounts to the police.
I didn’t get their names, but I want them to know that their help and concern in those first few minutes was greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much.
