In recent months, I have started feeling a sense of anger coupled with amusement.
Ignorance, arrogance, blind ideology and bigotry abound.
It appears that a significant number of Americans really believe that they are more American than Americans who do not share either their political views or their religious beliefs or both.
It also appears that many Americans are confused about the freedom to worship as they please and freedom of speech.

Lastly, as far as the Second Amendment is concerned, too many Americans who continue to have a love affair with guns do not seem to grasp the meaning of “well regulated militia.”
And for a really strange reason, it appears that the great majority of these people are affiliated with one of the ruling political parties, and they also are mostly white and “older.”
I believe it is time for these people to come out of the bubble and start living in the real world. And by the way, if these people are afraid of becoming a minority in this great nation of ours, put your mind to rest. We will soon be a minority! This is a nation of immigrants folks, and many of them are not white! Got it? I sure hope so.
