I was extraordinarily saddened to read of the death of my neighbor and mentor, Bill Morem. When he was editor of the Sun Bulletin, he encouraged me to write an occasional column as a newcomer to the Central Coast. He was incredibly supportive and positive. He loved everything I sent him. He had a twisted sense of humor and was a great appreciator of irony.
Bill was also a strong supporter of our community improvement projects. He volunteered, contributed financially and wrote glowing descriptive columns about our local volunteer organization, Celebrate Los Osos.
He will be greatly missed by everyone whose lives he touched, but especially by his friends and neighbors here in Los Osos.
