It has been announced throughout all the news agencies that former President Jimmy Carter’s cancer has spread to other parts of his body. Our prayers are with him.
This man is considered to be one of the most moral presidents the United States ever had. I would agree. His actions speak volumes.
John Fugelsang once said, “If you don’t want your tax dollars to help the poor, then stop saying that you want a country based on Christian values, because you don’t.” Carter is an example of the man who lived by Jesus’ values as found in Matthew: help the poor, take care of the sick, avoid violence, take better care of those in prison and help the needy. Jesus wept.
