I live in Atascadero and take my dogs to the dog park in Del Mar Park every weekend.
My sister lives a couple blocks away, so I visit her and we walk to the park.
In the past two months, we have been chased out of the park by the sprinklers coming on three times.
They water so much that the grass and benches are always wet when we get there and all bare ground is muddy. There are also puddles around the restrooms.
In this time of severe drought, this is inexcusable.
It’s a beautiful park and I love it, but please stop the excess watering. It is unnecessary.
