The State Water Resources Control Board has just announced that Californians have cut their water use by 27.3 percent, exceeding Gov. Jerry Brown’s request to reduce use by 25 percent.
One only has to look at others’ landscapes to see who is doing their share of water use reduction.
If a neighbor’s landscape is lush and green, then they are saying, “The heck with the rest of you, I’m going to do what I want.”
I wonder, if we examined each household’s water use, would we see a reduction?
