There were over 100 supporters of Bernie Sanders at the San Luis Obispo library on July 29, and 300 more at three other rallies in town.
The Tribune was sent media releases. Why were they absent? This was the largest and best-attended Web event for a candidate for president of all time. Why didn’t The Tribune cover it in the next day’s edition?
There is a groundswell of support around the country for Bernie Sanders. More than 100,000 people in over 3,500 events heard Bernie speak last night on the Web. Bernie has raised over $15 million from over 500,000 supporters.
Why isn’t that newsworthy? The truth is that it is newsworthy, and The Tribune owes it to its readers to cover the real story of the political revolution Bernie has begun all around America.
Please don’t be AWOL again!
