San Luis Obispo City Council, I’m proud that you chose to vote in a socially responsible way by divesting the city of fossil fuel based investments.
Please set an example for your voters. Start by walking wherever you go — no cars (including electric), airplanes, buses, taxis, trains, bicycles, or roller skates — as they are all made with fossil fuel.
You must pass an ordinance disallowing businesses that perpetuate evil fossil fuel usage. These include mechanics, lube, tire and bicycle shops, filling stations, electric car recharging stations, hospitals, doctors, dentists, pharmacies, beauty-supply stores and salons.
Each of you must stop using “fossil-fuel-made” products including tooth and hair brushes, combs, shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, eyeglasses and antihistamines.

Stay well, because heart valves and artificial limbs are now taboo. Even if they weren’t, you would have to undergo surgery without anesthetic.
The $5,700 taxpayer dollars you’ll waste by this vote could be put to good use for the community.
Possibly a charitable donation to Meals on Wheels. Oh wait, this organization will be on your hit list because volunteers use those pesky fossil fueled automobiles!
But you sure showed Chevron, didn’t you!
