In answer to Randy Morton’s comments about Vin Scully, I feel Mr. Morton could not be more wrong about Scully’s broadcasts of Dodger games.
He stated that Scully always criticizes the opposition, especially the Giants, and mispronounces their names or colleges.
I have been listening to Scully call Dodger games for more than 50 years, being a lifelong Dodger fan, and have never found him to be biased or unfair to opposing teams.
Scully still interviews opposing team members and fills in calling the game with positive stories about their lives, families and careers.

At 87, Scully still calls games alone. And though he might miss a beat occasionally, I haven’t noticed him mispronouncing names.
Obviously, Mr. Morton dislikes everything about the Dodgers, even though the Giants are the team winning the World Series lately. However, I think he should listen to a couple of Mr. Scully’s broadcasts before criticizing a man who has had such a stellar career.
