I am grateful to The Tribune for giving Supervisor Adam Hill the opportunity to explain his unusual behavior to his district and to the community at large.
I have always admired Mr. Hill for his clear analysis of the challenges that are facing our county. He fights hard for the ideas and issues he believes in. Recently, he’s gotten himself into hot water due to his inappropriate language, but he has shown personal courage by informing his district and county that he suffers from clinical depression.
Perhaps this courage will help other people who also are afflicted by this malady to get help. Clinical depression is as debilitating as other serious illnesses. Those who are diagnosed with C.D. deserve treatment and our compassion.
I look forward to Adam Hill’s continued service as a county supervisor. His experience and expertise are invaluable.
