I love many things about San Luis Obispo. I moved here when I was just 17 to attend Cal Poly, and one decade later, am proud to still call this community my home. There is one thing I don’t love about this town, though: housing. I’ve lived in various rental houses and apartments over the years, and I would love to one day own a home here. Only problem, is there aren’t any available, at least any I can afford as a young working professional.

I’ve been interested in projects like Avila Ranch and am hopeful that city leaders give the project a go-ahead.
