Cooler weather and light rain should be headed into the county .
A cold front bringing moderate southerly winds and rain is expected to arrive by Sunday evening, according to PG&E meteorologist John Lindsey.
Showers and a slight chance of thunderstorms in higher elevations of the county are expected to continue into Monday evening. Between a quarter-inch and a half-inch of rain is forecast, Lindsey said.
Cooler and dry weather will return Tuesday with chilly mornings that are likely to be the coolest of the season so far, he said.
