Templeton: Yamagata, Hammond leading in race for two school board seats

With two of eight precincts reporting, Templeton voters are so far favoring physician Nelson Yamagata and office manager Lisa Hammond for two seats on the Templeton Unified School District Board of Trustees.

Yamagata is leading with about 39 percent of the district’s voters while Hammond is following with 28 percent. Incumbent David La Rue so far is supported by 18 percent of the district’s voters, according to preliminary counts from the polls.
