Farm Supply CEO to watch State of the Union with Capps in D.C.

A prominent member of the San Luis Obispo County agricultural community will join Rep. Lois Capps on Tuesday for President Barack Obama’s State of the Union address.

In a news release, Brabeck said he’s looking forward to hearing Obama speak about “those issues that directly relate to and affect our agricultural community such as immigration reform and the Farm Bill.”

Brabeck, who has been Farm Supply’s president and CEO since 1969, serves on the Cal Poly College of Agriculture Advisory Council and the Cal Poly Corporation Board of Directors. He has also spent 39 years as a member of the county Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Commission.
