Cal Poly’s 22nd annual Open House will take place April 16-18.
The theme of this year's showcase for students, supporters, alumni and the San Luis Obispo community is “This is Mustang Nation.”
The event will kick off with a sampling of life in San Luis Obispo, including a presentation from Cal Poly clubs at Farmers Market along Higuera Street in downtown San Luis Obispo.
On Friday, admitted students can learn about Cal Poly degree programs and courses, hear from leaders of the university’s six individual colleges, and meet faculty, staff and current students.
Saturday's events will showcase the talents and accomplishments of the student population and includes food, games and booths prepared by more than 200 student clubs and organizations. Highlights include the Poly Royal parade, a truck and tractor pull, a rodeo and live music.
Cal Poly Open House activities date back to 1904.
