Cal Poly ranked among best colleges by Money magazine

Cal Poly was recently ranked 70th of 1,500 colleges and universities and received a B+ grade by Money magazine in a survey that assessed overall value among four-year U.S. colleges and universities.

The rankings were based on educational quality, affordability and alumni-earning capacity.

The average annual salary for Cal Poly students within five years of graduation is $54,000, while the net cost of a Cal Poly degree is $124,874. The university had an admission rate of 37 percent.

Cal Poly ranked 11th among California colleges in the survey, following Stanford University, four other private schools and five University of California campuses.
