A dozen buildings on the Cal Poly campus are still without hot water after a pipe failed Thursday in the campus utility passage.

The entire campus lost hot water briefly Thursday, but maintenance workers were able to restore it to most of the campus later that night. Hot water will be restored to the remaining buildings by Monday night, according to Matt Lazier, Cal Poly spokesman.

Classes were not affected, Lazier said.

The 12 buildings still without hot water are education, business, computer science, engineering, graphic arts, the health center, recreation center, natatorium, Crandall Gym, student services, construction innovations center and the Simpson Strong-Tie lab in the construction management department.
