Georgia Brown Elementary principal leaving for new job in Cambria

The principal at Georgia Brown Elementary School in Paso Robles is stepping down for a job in Cambria, according to a statement from the Paso Robles Joint Unified School District.

Pricipal Ellalina Emrich Keller has accepted the position of director at Camp KEEP, an outdoor science school for 5th and 6th graders through the Kern Environmental Education Program.

Her resignation is effective October 1, according to the district.

“We are thankful for the many years she has served in our district, and while she will be greatly missed, we are excited for her new opportunity,” district superintendent Chris Williams said in a statement.

Emrich Keller has been the school’s principal for five and a half years, according to the district.

Dr. Ruben Canales, the district’s human resources officer, will serve as interim principal.
