Paso Robles police cited a bar employee for selling alcohol to a minor in an alcohol compliance operation Saturday.
Police used an underage decoy to enter a total of 13 businesses between 3 and 9 p.m.
The employee there was issued a citation. The penalty includes a $1,000 fine and community service.
The business will also be contacted by the California Alcohol Beverage Control and could face sanctions, the Police Department said Monday.
The Police Department said it will be conducting similar operations in the coming months to reduce the availability of alcohol to minors.
