Correction: An earlier version of this story misstated what police allegedly found at Christopher Kluck's home. Police said that in a brief search, they found numerous images and videos of child pornography but that it would take several weeks to determine whether an additional tens of thousands of files contain child pornography.
A 57-year-old San Luis Obispo resident was arrested Wednesday morning on suspicion of possessing child pornography.
Christopher Daniel Kluck had his home on the 3900 block of Higuera Street searched by officers, who found graphic images of children ages 10 to 17 years old, according to a department news release.
An Arroyo Grande detective trained with the Central California Internet Crimes against Children Task Force forwarded the case to the San Luis Obispo Police Department, SLO police Lt. John Bledsoe said Thursday.
During the search, authorized by a search warrant, four computers, seven hard drives and several thumb drives were seized.
Kluck was arrested without incident. He was booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail on Wednesday on suspicion of possession of child pornography, and bail was set at $35,000.
Jail booking logs indicate he was out of custody as of noon Thursday.
