Authorities have made an arrest in the Jan. 22 hit-and-run incident that left a bicyclist injured.

Dina Yassin, 27, of San Luis Obispo was arrested Jan. 23 on suspicion of felony hit-and-run and booked into County Jail on $50,000 bail.

The bicyclist, 68-year-old Ernie Brink, is still in the hospital in stable condition, according to San Luis Obispo Police Department press release.

The hit-and-run occurred on the 700 block of Tank Farm Road near the entrance to the Marigold Center.

Though the suspect vehicle was impounded within hours of the incident, police originally said a lack of witnesses encumbered the investigation.

As of Friday morning, Yassin remained in custody.
