Court dates for two North County men charged with fraud have been postponed, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Both Kelly Gearhart and Jay Miller were charged with several counts of fraud related to a Ponzi-like scheme involving real estate projects that were never built. Court dates for both defendants have been pushed back numerous times.

Miller, who pleaded guilty to four counts of fraud and money laundering, is now set to be sentenced Sept. 8. Gearhart, who has pleaded not guilty to several counts of fraud, is set to go to trial June 17. Both events are set to take place in federal court in Los Angeles.
