Each day, dispatchers from the seven police departments in San Luis Obispo County take dozens of calls from residents seeking help for issues ranging from minor disputes to serious crimes. The Tribune provides coverage of serious crimes every day on its news pages. Here is alook at some of the other, more unusual calls as found in recent police logs from Paso Robles.
I wanna go home9:13 a.m. Nov. 19, 2000 block of Cathedral Canyon Court
A stray dog followed a resident home from a walk. The dog went into the resident’s garage and it appeared to have foam on its mouth. Animal Services said the foam was probably because it was tired and lost. The dog’s home was found and it was returned to its yard.

A woman said she was pulled over near the cemetery late Saturday night by someone she believed was a cop. The man then claimed he was a state ranger but didn’t have to carry identification. The man was driving an unmarked silver Mazda with a strobe-type light.
Unhappy customer12:22 p.m. Nov. 20, 3000 Riverside Ave.
A guest was unhappy with a room at a hotel and wanted to be compensated because of a hair she found in the bed. The business declined. The woman was then late checking out, and the hotel wanted police to escort her and her guest off the property. The woman then called the front desk saying she had fallen in the room. She declined medical assistance.

A citizen came into the police department to report turning 18 that day and wanted to have an “adult experience” by standing in a holding cell.
Bothersome bouquet6:25 p.m. Nov. 21, 900 Park St.
A woman was made to get off a bus because she was carrying flowers that another passenger was allergic to. The woman was then stranded. Officers helped her get a room at the Relax Inn and were going to help get her a bus ticket for the next morning.
TV lifting12:31 a.m. Nov. 22, 800 block of Turtle Creek Drive
An elderly woman was inside her home holding up a TV that could fall on her. Someone came to help her but could not get inside the home. Officers helped make entrance.
Too much turkey5:06 a.m. Nov. 22, 195 Niblick Road
A man was inside the bathroom at AM/PM moaning and making sounds like he was vomiting.
