Property stolen at five locations in San Luis Obispo leads to arrest of man, woman

Two people were arrested by San Luis Obispo police for allegedly possessing stolen property and narcotics.

Taken into custody were Courtney Vail Cardoza, 36, and Ryan Oray Krebs, 35. Both were listed by police as transients.

Detectives served two search warrants on Thursday -- one at 1821 Morro St. and the other at a storage facility on Santa Fe Road. Found in the searches were property stolen from five locations in San Luis Obispo, as well as one locale in Atascadero and another in Paso Robles.

The property came from residential, commercial and vehicle burglaries, police said.

Illegal narcotics and drug paraphernalia were found at the Morro Street location, said police. Authorities did not specify what kind of drugs were found.

Cardoza was booked into County Jail on suspicion of possessing stolen property, possessing a controlled substance, possessing concentrated cannabis and having drug paraphernalia. She was held in lieu of posting $20,000 bail.

Krebs was booked into County Jail in lieu of posting $85,000 on suspicion of possessing stolen property, possessing a controlled substance and having drug paraphernalia. He was also booked on two outstanding warrants.
