Another arrest has been made in connection with two April robberies in Paso Robles.
The investigation led the Paso Robles Police Department to Yonkers, N.Y., where the 17-year-old suspect had been staying with relatives, according to a news release.
The suspect was arrested Tuesday by Yonkers police and is awaiting extradition.
The suspect was initially reported to be 18 years old because of incorrect information from the DMV, according to Paso Robles police.
Two men, Samuel Campos Salgado, 19, of Shandon and Edward Joseph Anaya, 19, of Paso Robles were arrested earlier in the month after police received a tip that they were responsible for robbing four teenagers at gunpoint April 14 in the 3300 block of Park Street.
According to reports at the time, four men ranging in age from 17 to 19 had been walking in the area near 34th Street when three armed men robbed them about 10:30 p.m.
The men handed over their property, including cash, before the robbers ran away, according to police.
According to police, further investigation linked two of the men to an armed robbery of J&J Liquor on April 16, when one of the robbers robbers pistol-whipped the clerk before fleeing.
