A man suspected in a shooting outside a bar in San Miguel early Sunday is believed to be headed for the state of Sinaloa, in Mexico, the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Department said Wednesday.
Police identified the alleged shooter as José Manuel Alcaraz, 24, of Paso Robles. He is wanted for assault with a deadly weapon.
The Sheriff’s Department said those who come in contact with Alcaraz should consider him armed and call 911 immediately. The department is asking those with information to call Detective David Marquez at 781-4500.
The shooting took place in the 1200 block of Mission Street.
