A Paso Robles man was arrested early Thursday after allegedly causing a car crash while driving drunk in San Luis Obispo.
Michael Haller, 32, was driving east on Monterey Street around 1:20 a.m. when he turned north on Osos Street in front of an oncoming vehicle, according to a news release from San Luis Obispo police. The two vehicles collided in the intersection. A passenger in Haller's vehicle suffered a bruised forehead in the crash, police said.
During their investigation, officers determined that Haller was intoxicated, according to the news release.
Haller was arrested on suspicion of felony driving under the influence causing an injury. He was booked into County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail.
