A Los Osos man was arrested Wednesday after leading sheriff's deputies on a chase through town.

A deputy tried to pull over Ezekiel Alfred Delagarza, 32, as he was driving on South Bay Boulevard at 6:15 p.m., according to a news release from the San Luis Obispo Sheriff's Department.

After the deputy turned on his car's lights and siren, Delagarza allegedly continued driving, reaching speeds of up to 65 mph on Mountain View Drive.

Delagarza finally pulled over on San Luis Avenue, according to the news release.

He was booked into County Jail on suspicion of possession of a hypodermic needle, driving on a suspended license, felony failure to yield and three outstanding warrants. Bail was set at $52,000.
