Three arrested on illegal drug allegations in Grover Beach

Three people were arrested on various allegations of illegal drug use or possession during a parole-probation search by the Grover Beach Police Department’s special enforcement team.

Taken into custody Saturday during the search at 654 Trouville Ave. were:

Shanyce Firkins, 40, of Grover Beach. She was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, possession of prescription drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a deadly weapon, being under the influence and violating probation.

Michael Thompson, 52, of Grover Beach. He was arrested for being under the influence, being at a residence where a controlled substance was being used, possession of a deadly weapon and violating parole.

Joseph White, 40, of Grover Beach. He was arrested for being under the influence, being at a residence where a controlled substance was being used, possession of prescription drugs and violating probation.

The suspects were booked into County Jail.
