An Atascadero man was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of felony attempted murder in an apparent domestic violence related incident in Paso Robles.

At approximately 11:45 p.m. Tuesday, the Paso Robles Police Department received multiple 911 calls reporting that a shooting had just occurred on Green Court near the Paso Robles Golf Club.

Officers arrived on scene and found a man and a woman, police said, both with non life-threatening gunshot wounds. They were transported to local hospitals.

After investigating, police arrested 32-year-old Troy Allen Sykes at the hospital. He was booked into San Luis Obispo County Jail on two counts of attempted murder.

As of Wednesday morning, he remained there in lieu of $1 million bail.

Since police believe the shooting is domestic violence related, authorities declined to give further details on what happened and the victim's name.

Investigators with the Paso Robles Police Department, District Attorney's office and county Sheriff's Department were still collecting evidence as of Wednesday morning, police said.
