Deputies are searching for a suspect after a residential burglary Monday afternoon in San Miguel.
Sheriff’s deputies responded to report of a residential burglary on the 1300 block of L St. around 2 p.m. Monday. When doing a follow-up investigation, they tried to contact 32-year-old Kevin Bruce Duckworth, but he fled on foot and was able to evade officers, according to a news release.
After further investigation, deputies determined he was the suspect in the burglary. They were able to recover most of the property stolen from the residence, with the exception of a firearm.
Duckworth is described as a white male, 6-foot-1, 180 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
