SLO police search for man who robbed bank at gunpoint

San Luis Obispo police are searching for a man who robbed the U.S. Bank on Higuera Street on Monday.

Officers from the San Luis Obispo Police Department responded to reports of a bank robbery at the bank about 3:28 p.m. Monday.

According to a news release, a male adult entered the bank, approached the teller, brandished a pistol and demanded money. The man fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.

He was described by witnesses as wearing a tan-colored hat, green bandana on his face and all black shirt and pants.
