The San Luis Obispo Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying two men who stole two cases of beer from a 7-Eleven on Saturday, Sept. 23, the department said.

The theft happened at the 7-Eleven on California Boulevard, police said. Two men went into the store and stole two cases of beer. A store employee chased one of the suspects and caught up to him, police said.

As the employee was trying to take the beer from the suspect, three or four men got out of a silver Nissan and pushed the employee on the ground. The employee hurt his leg as a result, and the men got away, police said.

The men are described as Hispanic in their 20s, about 5-foot-2 and 160 pounds, police said.
