The Cambria Youth Athletic Association’s under-19 soccer team, the Broncos, beat Templeton 2-1 on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2-1, with only 10 players. Coach Luis Plasencia said his team played “compact and moved the ball around good enough to create a couple good plays for scores.”

Because the Broncos only had 10 players, Templeton also played with 10. The under-14 team that Plasencia also coaches beat Atascadero 4-3. Plasencia’s under-19 team has won four and tied one; the under-14 team is 4-1.
