The Bronco boys soccer team defeated Morro Bay by a shutout, 2-0, on Thursday, Jan. 9), at Morro Bay. Then two days later Coast Union was shut out at home by Liberty, 1-0.
The first goal scored by the Broncos in Morro Bay was by Oscar Catalan, and it came right after the Pirates’ goalkeeper was taken out of the game due to an arm injury and a substitute was put in.
The second goal for Coast Union was scored by Carlos Hernandez; he booted it in from 35 yards out to close out the scoring at 2-0. Jorge Renteria had three saves in goal for the Broncos.
On Saturday at Coast Union, Liberty scored a goal in the first period and that was all the scoring in the game.

On Tuesday, Jan. 14, the Broncos (4-10) entertained Nipomo and were shut out by the Titans, 3-0.
